One of the most caring and best surgeons I've ever been to. Was referred to him from the front range for problems I was having down here which they couldn't fix.
Dr. Sterett’s team has NO bedside manner and do not listen or believe their patients. Dr. Sterett is nice enough but isn’t very cautious with other people’s bodies. He performed a second surgery on the injured location without any tests, which caused permanent injury and nerve damage. Ben, his PA, is a jerk and likes to belittle patients. I refused to see him.
Dr. Sterett's friendly approach helps takes the pain out of surgery and makes it a pleasurable experience. He and his PA, Ryan, always respond quickly to emails and are the archetype of professionalism. Thanks for the new meniscus and PCL!
This is the first time I've been to Vail Ortho in quite a few years and I'm very disappointed. Read the paperwork you are given VERY carefully. Do not listen to the explanation the front desk gives you about what you're signing. If someone tells you that you are only paying a certain amount for your visit, a flat rate, question it. If the doctor you're seeing pushes for unnecessary procedures, get a second opinion and/or ask if there are additional costs.
