My first appt had me in the waiting room for 2 & half hours! I should've left & never looked back! However, my fear of having serious health issues made me stay. I was eventually called into the office, and right off the bat, 'DR' Vaidya was rude knowing I was upset for having to wait so long in the waiting room. Dr. Vaidya is a brilliant surgeon and absolutely wonderful doctor. She’s caring, thorough and answers all questions. She performed surgery on me last November and I’m feeling great. She was highly recommended and I couldn’t be happier having her as my doctor. Additionally, her entire staff is terrific, friendly and very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Vaidya.
She’s the best. Her office the nurses her PA are all wonderful.
I needed surgery and did not feel safe putting my life into Dr. Vaidya's hands. She wanted to do an oophorectomy and hysterectomy before reviewing my test results and continued to push her perspective without listening to any of my questions. I had to ask her three times to answer a simple question - how long the recovery process is. Instead of answering my questions, she continued to lecture me on her opinions when I simply wanted to know what the surgery involved. Dr. Vaidya was very rude, she didn't let me ask questions, the total time she spent with me was 10 minute. During the consultation I was in pain because she did it so fast and she never asked how I feel. Dr. Vaidya with her attitude makes you feel you're not worth her time. A doctor without compassion is not a good doctor, regardless of her knowledge. I will not follow up with her and I regret wasting my time.
My mom was referred to Dr. Vaidya for lower abdominal pain. Dr. Vaidya was rude, dismissive, and insensitive. She suggested taking out my mom’s ovaries and fallopian tubes. Thank goodness we got another opinion. Turns out it was a hernia. This doctor shouldn’t be allowed to treat animals, let alone humans. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. You’re worth finding someone competent with a good bedside manner.
Dr. Vaidya was phenomenal! She had such a comforting presence, and made me feel welcome. Her explanation of my options was very thorough, and she was super nice during the entire process. The rest of her staff was very helpful as well, making scheduling future appointments easy. I had a great experience!
Terrible bedside manner
I went to Dr. Vaidya for an open hysterectomy even though the odds were low that I had cancer because her training and skill made me confident she was the best possible surgeon if cancer was found during the surgery. My surgery ended up being more complicated than expected and I was very glad I had chosen Dr. Vaidya to perform it. Anyone who complains about a busy surgeon's bedside manner is not focused on what is most important - surgical skill - but I found Dr. Vaidya to be warm, compassionate and good at explaining things... read more
