I have known a number of therapists both professionally and as a client, I can say that Jerry is an S-tier therapist. Kind, caring, genuine and definitely knows his stuff. I went to him for neurofeedback work and after a few months can confidently say he has helped me change my life for the better.

Jerry has helped me get through a very traumatic life event. His brain painting technique helped to calm my nervous system. The flashbacks and sleepless nights are gone. I am very grateful.

I can't speak for everybody that provides counseling/therapy at Vagus counseling. But Jerry Berndt's trauma therapy and specialized biofeedback (Im sure I'm saying it wrong) techniques provided me with IMMEDIATE almost palpable effects that produced readily discernible long term benefits. I was less temperamental, better able to concentrate at work, and a more thoughtful parent. One of the main reasons I like coming here is because I don’t feel judged. I feel like I can be myself. Jerry is funny, compassionate, honest and caring. Brainspotting to say the least, is , well, weird. And you do need to have an open mind. But I am proof it does actually work. I have chronic pain and after my first session I actually felt relief.
