I get to come to Abilene maybe once a month tops but I always schedule it so that I can grab a pizza at Vagabond Pizza. I always made it a point to catch them at Barley Hoppers on Tuesdays but now they have started the good truck Tuesdays at the Abilene farmers market. This is awesome. Just a couple of weeks into this location and have 6 different trucks and a band for a wife variety of choices and over 300 seen just the first week. Best crust in abilene! Flavorful combinations too. Always love seeing what toppings they come up with to pair together. Our favorite local pizza by far. We love coming for date nights and also as a family and we never have had anything but a wonderful experience. The staff is so incredibly friendly and attentive and the restaurant is always clean. Fantastic pizza that is quick (less than 5 minutes since they use an 800'F wood oven!), and made with high quality local ingredients. Check their website for weekly schedule to be able to get your pizza fix.
