I placed my order for NOS RCA black plate 6L6GC power tubes X4 and they arrived promptly. I'm very happy with the product, but also the service. These folks shipped this right away, and the new old stock tubes are amazing! Running McIntosh MC30 monoblocks- replacing the 6L6GC tubes from Electro-Harmonix that were installed when I purchased the amps refurbished from a dealer. Other small tubes were also replaced before the power tube upgrade, the system is on point and sounding great.
Were vacuum tubes efficient enough to revive? Using today's technology in heating instead of tungsten, can we find another home for this technology today?
