This company is a total scam. Total. We reserved with them only to receive a phone call the day of our flight to tell us there was an administrative mistake and our reservation was no longer available. We paid in advance and to save the credit card fees we did a transfer from our bank account. Totally scammed us and that was 3 years ago we lost $6,000 dollars. We rented a beautiful apartment for 7 people for the week of the 29th of December of 2019, rented almost a year in advance. The day we were getting on the airplane to fly to Hawaii we received an email telling us that due to an administrative error the apartment we had rented was no longer available. BEWARE AND DONT DO BUSINESS WITH VACATION HOMES ONLY DOT COM!!!! Total scam and fraud, we booked a trip back in October to Maui with family and friends to go at the start of the new year. I have been calling Nick and emailing to get my conformation etc and haven't gotten anything. Similar to many of the other reviewers, I was defrauded by Vacation Homes Only. I signed a contract for an ocean front unit which they claimed three different times was verified - it was all lies. The day before check in they informed me that my rental was no loner available and shifted me to an inferior unit. Months later I am still waiting for compensation - even though clause #5 of my contract states that if the rental is cancelled I am due a full refund. Do yourself a favor and avoid this outfit. I really don't understand why there aren't better reviews for this company. Their process is very straight-forward and would make anyone uncomfortable (I know I was the first time I found and used them). Please if anyone wants to hear a voice recorded conversation with Nicolas as to why your name isn't on your reservation, or the days you paid in full weeks before were "overbooked", then to be told that your money is going to be refunded immediately and wasn't, PLEASE call me! Do not give this company your credit card information to have them send you a contract they force you to sign or your card will be charged $500 without them even telling you and it's non-refundable unless you sign to go with them.
