Be very wary of renting from them. I was charged a $500.00 fee for cleaning because a few of our group smoked a cigar while sitting at the fire pit that clearly caused way more smoke than the Cigars. We left the property in perfect shape & was still charged!

Booked a last minute trip to Hilton with Vacasa for September 11th at the Breakers. On August 24st we found out my husband has kidney cancer and needs to have surgery. I contacted customer service to check about cancelling our trip and we were told they could not give us any type of refund. I offered to provide them a letter/proof from his doctor and we were willing to pay a booking fee, but again was told they could not help us. We stayed at spring towers Myrtle Beach June 25th through July 2nd. We booked room 503 through Vacasa. Upon checking in we discovered our washer didn't work we immediately called them and let them know. We were told they repair man would be out that day. After smelling a foul stench we realized that there was a dirty diaper in the bathroom trash can amongst other garbage. Paid $429 for 2 nights just to have a dirty rental. The bathrooms were nasty one tub you can see was dark from Continuous use without cleaning. The curtains in both were stained with dirt comparable to a dog playing in mud and just shaking the dirt off. There were stains and chunks of dirt on the beds, hair left in the bathrooms, food from previous guests in the freezer, the utility closet was disgusting as it had an stained towel and excessive dust. Do not rent from Vacasa. I went on a business trip and there was not working internet or TV at the rental. I answer phones and enter reservations so I was unable to do work from my room. Instead I had to leave. I spent 16 hours there mostly fighting with someone to get the internet going- then sleep. I left so airbnb was good and returned my 2 nights' pay, but vacasa refused to refund the night and fees so we paid over $350 for 16 hours of a living nightmare. Brandi Watson so called "Manager" and her help has purposely avoided over a dozen emails and texts for a small invoice they are avoiding paying for services completed over 2 months ago.Brandi will lie to you all day, that is if she bothers to return your calls or emails.this is such a scam of a company don't waste you time getting ripped off by them. Your shady ways will catch up with you, I gaurantee it.

I have never seen such an insect infested home, it was mortifying to see. And it was not just gnats- cockroaches, spiders, the works. Every room was filled with bugs all throughout, probably 50 large bugs on the ceiling over the master bedroom. It was like a nightmare. Every light had been left on inside of this home and there was likely opening somewhere to the outside, making it completely filled with bugs by the time we arrived.
