Our niece graduated from psu and we all stayed at this gem of a house. Completely private, including gates with plenty of parking. One night we watched a movie on the huge outdoor projector, fun! Home had laundry room and one large bedroom & bathroom downstairs with the game room! Had a fun game of poker for the adults and plenty of games for the littles. We rented a property in Mosier, OR via AirBnB. It was in poor condition, unclean, and generally unpleasant. Only some of the bedroom windows had coverings, some beds didnt even have sheets on them, dead bugs, cobwebs, dust, dirty pans in the cupboard, and the general condition of the home was rundown. This was the worst trip and of all weekends Mother’s Day. Whaleshead resort north of brookings really went down hill when these people took over. Vacasa is a joke. They door lock was broke so when we arrived after 1 hour wait I broke into a window. The glass out of the microwave is broke. The cabin needed cleaned bad. The hot tub wasn’t cleaned there was sand all over the bottom and it stunk bad. All the blinds were broke. Hot water lasts 10 min if you’re lucky. DO NOT RECOMMEND booking any property managed by Vacasa. We were supposed to stay in a unit managed by them in July, but upon arriving at the unit, we immediately noticed how dirty it was. When you open the front door, you have to walk up a flight of stairs because the unit starts on the second floor. We didn’t even need to walk up the stairs to see how dirty it was. As a property owner attempting to use Vacasa’s management services, my experience was extremely disappointing. After months of delays, poor communication, and substandard service, my listing was never completed. I declined to move forward and was assured the account would be closed and fees waived. Over four years later now I received a collections notice. Their level of disorganization and lack of follow-through can create long term issues for property owners, as I’m experiencing now.
