The receptionist was extremely rude to me when I went to asked a simple question about where to get a prescription filled. She asked if my husband was the veteran. I started the conversation with my last name and last four of my SSN. Really? Do they know that women serve in the military too? This is 2020 people, women serve too Santa Maria VA, please train your receptionists to be more polite!
Why would you have a VA clinic here is you have NONE of the resources to take care of your patients?? They can't even prescribe pain medication??? Are you joking? I have to go to LOS ANGELES TO SEE A DOCTOR????
Why do I have to drive all the way to West LA to see a gynecologist to talk about a 6 cm fibroid tumor in my uterus and birth control? For a one way trip, that is 147 miles away and at least three hours of driving. I have to take a full days off of work because I will be traveling for six hours and 294 miles. Why can’t I get help in a nearby city?
only staffed with one or two actual doctors, and the one that I have is an unmitigated ass who likes to tell you you're fat and that you're the problem while denying you medication. "Dr. Mahmood" is the name of this gem. They didn't even have a Psychiatrist when I was in there last time.
