I am so sorry to post this but I was really upset to walk in instead of being greeted. This person was asleep on the job. I love what the VA does but I can't have somebody sleeping and I'm paying for her job. I appreciate everybody else what they do for my father and my family but we cannot be greeted by a sleeper.
I was deeply impressed with the VA Medical Center I recently had eye surgery and was very apprehensive about it. The night before my scheduled procedure I didn't sleep well at all, worrying about the outcome. All of my anxiety quickly evaporated at the center due to the high quality client care of the staff and my service team. The VA has always been incredibly good to me. Today I visited this outpatient clinic for the first time. I got there early, just after they opened. They were already busy. First thing, I was greeted by a person with was a big smile. That’s enough to start any new encounter positivity. Then, each new person I met was very friendly and seemed genuinely concerned with my health. As usual, I was brought in right on time.
