I was surprised and impressed when the Lyons VA reached out to me to see if I needed an appointment. Prior to them reaching out to me I hadn't realized when I connected with the East Orange VA medical center that they have an over abundance of patients. The call was outstanding because no VA hospital has ever done that for me. That's outstanding and squared away and I'm very impressed with the East Orange and Lyons VA medical centers. The place is good, but today Thursday, September 10th the lab technician who draws blood returned from her lunch break without saying "good afternoon" or anything at all; she called the patient in, drew his blood, and left him sitting in the wheelchair instead of bringing him out to where I was waiting. This isn't the first time this has happened with her. I know she is a professional she must have trained to be able to draw blood but as a human being, I give her a ZERO 👎🏻 .
