After 28 years of service in the Marine Corps, I initially sought treatment at the Tampa VA Hospital and later at the clinic across from the eye clinic. Where DOES the VA find their mental health providers? This clinic is a joke. The "counselors" all contradict each other when it comes to information on mental health and addiction recovery. Certain counselors don't seem to know what they're talking about, they just want to keep riding those military glory days while attempting to show off about their old rank. No one cares. The VA seems to hire only individuals who do not care or understand the veteran or have any knowledge of the field they're in.

First time there I asked at the desk downstairs about my appointment. They did not tell me I needed to go upstairs. So I missed most of the session.
