My experience can not be rated. I have been going to the VA Medical Center in Chicago for the last seven years. We recently moved to the Hampton, Va. area. I was refused medical service by Dr. Mizuki at the VA Medical Center in Hampton, Va. This was suposed to be my first visit to the pain clinic there and was scheduled for 8:30AM. When my wife called to reschedule the appointment with Dr. Mizuki, she was told he had reviewed my records and I did not need to be seen by him. I seen the bad doctor this week and he not only ignored my pain but exluded it from his diagnosis. He refused to give me medicine for my pain and told me that my back "was not bad enough" even though I have a herniated disk and several bulging disk along with scoliosis. I also have Desert Storm Syndrome and am in severe pain and was told by pain management in Chicago that I would be on meds for the rest of my life to control this pain.
