My dad is having complications swallowing, and thus eating. He checked himself into the VA after weeks of having to track down the proper VA doctor to move forward to figure out how he can eat. After checking himself in, nothing has been done to get him closer to eating again. Everyone who has come in to check on him has been very kind, but it is just such a slow process filled with empty conversations about “how he’s doing”. The staff was excellent, very welcoming!!
Absolutely atrocious service. They won't respond to messages online. They don't follow up for appointments. Getting an appointment with them is a nightmare. Contacting people over the phone is impossible 9 our 10 times. Its simply a mismanaged disgrace and their "services" are an insult to the veteran community of Atlanta.
Friendly. Some staff seem to be out of placement with doctors. Do not understand their job duties for appointments needing scheduling. Updated file records would be better.
