Worst VA I've encountered best using community care unless you want to have a mental health break and do something you will regret later
It's January 2023 and I have still not heard from this VA. I needed heart surgery and they received the referral on 9 May 2022. As of today no letter, not one phone call nothing! Totally worthless. I went to a civilian hospital and took care of it. It is now February 2026 almost four years since this VA got my heart referral and still not one letter or call. This is just shameful. The VA doesn't care about veterans.
