This VA does not help with appointments
As a disabled veteran, I have never been treated with such disregard as I have at the Topeka VA’s so-called “veteran ride program.” Recently, a non-medical staff member informed me that I “do not qualify” for transportation services — even though I cannot safely drive myself to medical appointments.
