I loved the wine selection but my waitress was rather cool and frigid doing the bear minimum.
What a wonderful delightful experience! From the outstanding, attentive, professional staff... to the unbelievable dishes, flavors, textures, sauces… to the tantalizing flights of wine... They managed to make a relatively small space, welcoming and luxurious. We can't wait to try every item on the menu!
Never disappointed! Food is always interesting and delicious.
Great food; whether it's something new on the menu or faves we are so glad are still on the menu (Lechon and Brussel sprouts for my hubby and lamb and ahi tuna for me), great service that's well timed and of course with great selection of wine, it's a Walnut Creek staple and our go to spot for a tete-a-tete or small-party dinner with friends.
Have eaten here twice for dinner with both good experiences. Not a wine drinker so unfortunately cannot comment on that. Service is excellent and food is good. It can be quite crowded and noisy inside so maybe not the best place to have deep conversation. Make sure to make reservations beforehand or you'll have to settle for eating at the counter or outside, both are decent options.
We were greated almost immediately and seated outside in the beautiful alley dinning with a nice hanging heater and waterfall. Service was fast and professional, our server was nice and checked on us frequently, the food came quickly and was plated nicely. Cocktails were perfectly mixed and most importantly the food was full of flavor: I had the risotto and my partner had a steak cooked rare and we shared French fries as an appetizer. The atmosphere was calm and beautiful. Would deff dine here again
