Sadly I must give the New Braunfels VA Clinic a 1 star review. Today I called the S Texas Veterans Healthcare System to schedule an appointment. They aren't taking patients which means I must drive to San Antonio from New Braunfels for care. This is a new facility and they lack the staff to see patients. Don't know why they built it in the first place if they can treat veterans.
Absolutely a quality clinic that serves veterans. A quality facility that enhances a commitment to the best care available for veterans. I salute the staff of this facility.
I was issued the wrong dosage on my medication which resulted in running out of meds ahead of schedule. I contacted pharmacy, nurse, front desk, and patient advocate. All did the same, " we'll have someone call you back". I was given a bridge prescription to collect and it too was the wrong dosage. I started to go through withdrawals from my hbp meds and my pain killers and finally went into the clinic in person. They take the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make sure I feel comfortable every step of the way. It’s clear that their priority is not just my health, but also my peace of mind. I truly appreciate their kindness and dedication, and I always leave feeling supported and cared for.
Very clean, realativly new facility. Excellent treatment. Sometimes longwaits. The staff treat the Vets with respect.
