I have been sick and went to urgent care twice, they told me it's beyond them and I need to see a real doctor. It has now been 6 days and I have called the VA 3 times, and no one has called me back to schedule an appointment. I am also over 2 years past due for a colonoscopy that I am supposed to get every 5 years. I was told that since I don't have anyone to drop me off and pick me up (I'm divorced and alone) and there is no medical cab that will sign for my release, that I just don't get a colonoscopy and I guess I just di... read more
Great care and staff, it does feel like a small town clinic.
Went to have my blood drawn so I didn't have to drive the hour to Lexington. I was unable to get out so long they canceled the order. The folks at the clinic were amazing, got the order re-input, and helped me while I had a panic attack. My PTSD is very severe, and they did what was best so I could get it done.
I transferred my care from VA Somerset to VA Berea because of convenience. I'm so glad I did! I met with Dr. Bennett for initial patient visit. She took her time going over my medical chart, explained answers I had in great detail. I've always gotten good care at VA Somerset as well as VA Bowling Green, but this care at VA Berea is at the next level!!!
