We had the steaks which were cooked to perfection and had great flavor. The saxophone player came to our table and we requested “What a Wonderful World”, which he played beautifully. Our server was aware that we were going to the theatre and kept pace with our schedule. It was a great evening all around.
We came to Pensacola from Mobile for a concert - found this and their wonderful proximity to our venue, so got reservations. WOW - were we surprised! It was absolutely fantastic - the artichoke appetizer was amazing, the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp was my entree and spectacular, and my husband got chicken parmesan. Their sauces were authentic and bright. Dessert - don't get me STARTED! Husband got Creme Brûlée - loved it - I got Salted Caramel Cheesecake - no words. My wife and I have been to V Paul's a few times now and every single time we have really enjoyed our experience. The food is always great and the staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. Carlos was our waiter last night and it's been a long time since we've had a waiter so polite, and just from observing all the other waiters and how they handled their tables, you can tell everyone there takes a great deal of pride in what they do.

I wouldn't go back. When we got the cheeseboard nothing was described we had to guess what kind of meats and cheeses were there. Our server forgot to bring bread until the end of the meal and the pasta was way overcooked. Server brought my husband's Scotch in a frosted beer glass instead of on the rocks. Was not worth the high price.
