Im happy i took truck in they where nice and fast
been going to the smog shop for 10 yrs and now that v&l took over its a joke.

We're sorry about your experiences at The Smog Shop. Due to strict Utah Highway Patrol Inspection laws we are required to follow procedures and policies to a T. If you would like you can speak to an officer about our Safety Inspection program. We would also like to apologize for any wait time you experienced. The order of the vehicles that are serviced is first come first served. We cannot accept any phone in reservations because that is not fair to our customers that have come in before you.
Thorough inspection and complete documentation of my vehicle's condition. An educational experience worth the wait.
They are horrible. They charged me for parts I didn't need. I ended up fixing my car myself!!, a cheap thermostat is what I needed. 300 dollars out after going to them. Very dishonest people. They will charge you for a diagnostic and tell you that you need things you don't need. I found out they did the same thing to my mom a couple years ago. If I would have know I would have stayed away. DONT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET TAKEN. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

I have been going to this shop for years......never had any trouble until the last time. I went in for inspection and emissions...I knew going in that muffler was bad, again no biggie. The problem started when they brought me the LIST of everything needing to be done. I am reading down through it and it is the normal stuff...change fluids, change belts, but then I read change TIMING BELT. My car does not have a timing belt...it has a timing chain. When I inquired...they wanted to argue. Needless to say I WONT BE BACK!
