I love the UW clinics. It’s unfortunate that I had to find out the hard way IN PAIN dealing with my issue that they wouldn’t take me 10 mins to close. I can understand it but they had me on hold for over 30 mins today so I could ask them if showing up then would be okay. They did NOT answer. I work in Seattle and came from there as fast as I could thinking I can make the location near home. ***Show up on a June 11th at 830 because it says online they open at 8. There is a sign on the door they don’t open till 9am hand written. Why is this place always so terrible with service I been here before and never had an issue but this visit was terrible. I wait in line for 20-30 mins to go to urgent care only to be told they are not offering walk ins. I saw Dr. Cheung today and left feeling completely dismissed, unheard, and honestly upset. I came in with severe symptoms, significant mouth swelling, sores, a swollen tongue, difficulty swallowing and breathing, and concerning swelling in my lymph nodes and none of it felt taken seriously. From the start, his attitude was rude and dismissive. When I explained that my midwife had advised me to come to urgent care, he questioned her instead of listening to me, which immediately made me feel brushed off. The entire visit felt ... read more
