Dr Hammer amd her nurse Carrie was amazing, had an injection with fluroscopy into the shoulder joint, so professional and very little pain. She explained everything before she did the injection and while she was performing the injection.
UW ortho has 2 main issues. First, they are constantly overbooked and getting a timely appointment is nearly impossible unless a chance cancelation happens. Second, it seems their goal is to put a patient-proof wall of nurses and PAs around the docs. Trying to get any direct answers out of a surgeon about an upcoming or past surgery? Good luck. You need to push and push. They probably see me as an annoying patient, which is fine. I can be annoying when a bureaucracy stands in my way
The doctors made me feel so comfortable and answered my questions 10/10 recommend. Not the injury (lol).
