Very poor quality lenses at simply astronomical prices ($800+ in my case). Since you definitely don't get what you pay for, you might as well roll the dice by going just about anywhere else; what do you have to lose?
They are so rude every time we go, and the appointments they have are 4 months out, UW optometrist doesn’t have the capacity to serve this city in a reasonable time.
I came into clinic for a routine exam last week. I found dr Patel to be rushed and not able to take the time to talk to me about my necessary surgery. It just seemed that he didn't want to take any time to discuss anything. I felt like I was rushed through the portion of my exam with the Doctor.
If Covid 19 was a place, this would be it! Absolutely filthy, which seems to be the common theme at UW health clinics. Went in for an eye exam and they charge $150 just for using being in the clinic “to pay their rent” which is not covered by insurance and then a separate fee for the service you’re being provided, almost $500 for an eye exam. The prescription I was given was wrong and the nurse seemed pretty rushed through the exam so I was not surprised, I called to get rechecked and asked if I will be charged they said no ... read more
