The security guard wouldn't let me bring in my overnight bag, even though the ER kept me over night. He made me take my belt off, my pants were falling down. Guard said, "you have two hands..." Jerk. I then waited in in the lobby for 2 hours. It was so cold I couldn't stop shaking. I was in a lot of pain, feeling like I was going to vomit, nobody did anything to help me. This is by far the most unacceptable treatment of patients I have ever seen. I’m in Florida and my mother is currently in the ER waiting for a room because she’s being admitted for a serious infection and she has been laying in a bed covered in blood for hours, no nurses or doctors have done anything, she put bloody blankets on the floor and they literally kicked them to the side, her commode is full of urine, nobody is answering the nurse call button. I am fully disgusted at this point and will be filing a formal complaint.... read more
Just yesterday I had a toupet fundiplication done. Dr Borazzo is a great doctor, did a fantastic job with his team. I have had my gall bladder removed in Potsdam and that was absolutely horrendous. Was in so much pain and they sent me home that day. At UVM they kept me overnight for monitoring. They took excellent care of me and were very professional and very nice people.
I just finished up treatment there. The staff in the radiation oncology department is great and is top notch
