Love the doctors. Dr Johnson is the absolute best pediatrician! He is the reason we continue to deal with UVA health. It’s extremely difficult to make or cancel an appointment. I’ve just sat on hold for 50 minutes just trying to cancel my appointment. The whole time hearing the message that with too many cancelations or no shows you’ll be removed from their system. Yet I am unable to change or cancel my appointments in a timely manner because they don’t answer their phones.
Myself & my kids see a physician at this office. The doctors are great. However, getting anyone to answer the phone is near impossible!
My is good but when you are are making a appointment with them from a phone they have you on hold instead of playing are take care of you first and respond to the phone calls
UPDATED MAY 2024: The attention to patient care on the administrative side has gotten WORSE, not better. We just sat on hold for more than 30 minutes for the initial contact, listening to the loop of recorded messages. UNACCEPTABLE. Whoever "Jamie" is, he's doing a lousy job of answering phones. ----------------------------------------------------------- The hands-on medical staff (particularly Dawn Howell, NP and Leslie) are fantastic. My husband and I both had appointments and had similar great experiences. Especially just being heard for our issues was a big deal. Everyone we met came with kindness!
