UVA transplant center west complex-liver @ 1300 jefferson park ave.4th floor. The staff and doctor Mezina are wonderful! I trust their work,knowledge and dedication they give to me as a patient. We were evaluated for kidney transplant at UVA by physician referral. Patient education was ok, but we were left hanging for over 2 months afterwords. Several phone calls were made to the assigned RN, but there was no response. Finally, when we reached the transplant center, we found that her application had been rejected, without so much as an email or letter to inform us. While we were informed of factors which might disqualify her, we were told her case would be evaluated at the next staff meeting. We were never informed ... read more
