Had an 11 a.m. appointment checked in 1030 a.m waited almost 3 hrs.went and asked if I was ever going to the dr.was told we do here like the emergency does so just got up and came home just to mention drove 3 and half just to get here needless to say appointments mean nothing.

This place is apparently unable to improve despite their review responses. My sister came home in a state after apparently being told, "if you want surgery we'll give you some or if you are okay then go on". WHAT!? That's hardly an evaluation and someone in management/supervision need to finally intervene and protect UVA health's reputation.

Dr Carter is great, but honestly it's not even worth it to come here. Half the Drs are rude and you wait 2-3 hours every single time you come here. What's the point of scheduling an appointment? Not coming back anymore

I came to make an appointment the receptionist was on the phone buzy texting I said few times hello she ignored me I was with my baby standing the whole time and she was very mean she made my appointment 7 months later to come I told her I need early then that she said I can't help then she won't talk to me anymore that's why I give 1 star very rude receptionist.
