I came to get help with anxiety and depression. I thought the visit went well. I was excited to get a new treatment however it was on a Friday and they were closing and the doctor forgot to update the chart. Therefore, I couldn’t go get my lab work done called left messages. No one got back to me till the following Tuesday and even then no one would call me. Absolutely terrible experience today trying to schedule a follow-up. The receptionist was not only incredibly rude but also flat-out wrong, repeatedly insisting they had no provider under my doctor's name. Seriously, imagine that level of incompetence! When I dared to ask a clarifying question, her sarcasm was utterly unprofessional. This kind of dismissive and unhelpful behavior is completely unacceptable for a front-line staff member.

My experience with Dr Kaelan Temple, who practices under Dr Derek Neal’s supervision, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I did not feel that I was treated with the level of care, respect, or professionalism that should be expected from a medical provider, especially in the context of mental health care. Following the unfavorable interaction with Dr. Temple, I repeatedly requested a phone call from Dr. Neal, but those requests went unanswered. My son was seen here and placed on a medication, with no follow-up for 6 weeks. I had to ask for counseling/therapy and was told they had a wait list. He ended up in the UTMB ER and admitted to Medical Behavioral Hospital in Clear Lake which was a disaster. Another new medication no discharge coordinated care. Called to get post hospitalization care from here as this is where his MH care is and was told nothing available until end of January.
