The Clinics and hospitals are great. The doctors and nurse and staff amazing. Their billing department totally sucks. Except for Deanne that actually listened to me and called the insurance while I was on the phone. She was able to clear it out. I have a problem with the deductible and co pays. When I am forced to overpay they take 6 to 8 weeks to refund me and I have to request it and keep track. Emergency department is slow as hell. My grandbaby has been sitting there for five hours waiting on X-ray results with his mother. And still hasn’t received any results. My daughter got tired of waiting and took him elsewhere to be treated!
This lady was incredibly rude when I asked for directions to my family members’ room.
My Mom had an appointment with a UTMB doctor and went to this location by mistake. It was a long walk for a 90y.o. lady on her walker, so we were worried for her walk back to the car. The lady in the clinic was so thoughtful she pushed Mom back to the car without our asking. That's the spirit of care! We did get to the right location finally for her visit and all was well.
