I hemorrhaged about 2 or 3 hours after my first. I was told I lost roughly half of my blood, I don't remember much. I remember the nurse coming in, the sound of the alarm, a woman on top of my stomach pushing with all of her weight, my husband holding my face telling me im okay, that I need to stay awake while I was in and out of it. I had about 5 ivs in, a catheter, blood, and I dont remember a majority of it all. I was told that I nearly died, and I was nearly rushed into surgery. A quien interese medicamente con el respeto que meresen es una queja para el UTMB 200 Bloson st tengo un año pidiendo a la social worker por favor que me atienda en persona porque la operacion de corazon abierto fue un total fracaso me prometieron que no me pasaria nada tenia un 98 por ciento que era un exito total y fue todo lo contrario me hicieron una serie de examenes que todo los examenes estaban exelentes resultados no iba a ver ninguna complicacion de nada vale el hospital sea moderno que tengan instrumentos de 1ra ca... read more

I recently gave birth to a baby with a condition incompatible with life. Every nurse, tech, receptionist, MD, NP from nicu to L&D to post partum treated Me and my family with such compassion and professionalism. I am forever grateful.

One of the worst experiences of my life. I gave birth here 4 months ago and I am just now comfortable speaking about this atrocity of an experience. My first night, my first nurse, would stay in my room from 30 min to an hour to discuss with me her Christmas present options for her kids, her cousin Willy, how she just put her sisters dog down, and most of all how tired she was.
