The people that run the front desk are always friendly and polite.
July 15th, 2026. My husband was admitted to the ER with 2 small bleeds in his head from an auto accident. Everybody was great from the receptionist to the ER staff. They were professional, courteous and absolutely wonderful. HOWEVER, on the 7p-7a shift my husband had a nurse (MICHELLE) that was the rudest person I have ever come across. I am a retired UTMB ICU and ER nurse and I have NEVER talked to a family member nor a patient like she did nor has any co- worker I have ever worked with. This dr thought it was a good idea to keep my ptsd meds away from me. Being vi polar with ptsd and anxiety from the army. Ill never return here.
