We had a great experience with Utility Partners of America. Their team was professional, responsive, and clearly very knowledgeable about what they do. Communication was smooth from start to finish, and everything was handled efficiently and with a high level of care professionalism.
Terrible service
UPA, the contractor used by our local utility company, CPW, has provided some of the worst communication and service I’ve experienced. They showed up a couple of weeks ago unannounced, and starting digging massive holes in the yard. Turns out they were adding a new utility pole with no notice. Thankfully, I was out of town, but when they turned off the power, and I usually work from home. I lead meetings and the power going out is not great for this. It also affected neighbors. On 1/29/26 at 6:45am, a driver cut me off within inches on Celenese in Rock Hill in attempts to get onto I77 north. He was so close to the Sheriff in front of him that he slammed on his brakes and caused a multiple vehicle accident behind him. I have it on dashcam and have given it to the Sheriff who said he was at fault after reviewing the video. I’ll also be giving it to all our insurances.
This company shut off my internet then power and blocked my car in all without notice. To say there was Fear is understated. How would you feel if your blocked in to your driveway and they cut power and internet with no notice. Juest terrorized
