No option to pay without a processing fee unless you turn on auto payments. Will go out of my way to avoid being in their service areas on my next move unless this changes.

All of these bad reviews are true, they don't mail you any bills and then spend time trying to catch you in some sort of lie and accusing you instead of being accountable for the fact that they never mailed you anything. I called to get water changed to my name just for them to tell me they cant change anything without the owners permission. I tell the landlord that I cant change their account. This utility company allegedly does illegal operations by guessing what your meter is when it does not transmit a usage number. Meters need updates and the company allegedly tries to make the user pay for the new meter when MN law mandates this is something the utility company needs to pay for. They also allegedly have a complaint with the MN AG office for miss billing Watch your usages and call if you have questions. No bill in over a year from UMS. Still no bill since new owners took over. Then a letter from new management saying I owe 2400. No I don't. I communicated with you on my hardship. Said I could make payment arrangement for 6 months is the most they could do or get energy assistance. I got help but they paid Xcel and said they aren't familiar with you. I called back spole with a lady that said they will discuss with Granite management. I have not received a bill or letter from you for about a year at least. I don't owe 2400.00... read more
