It is a great place to go to school!
I enjoyed the four years I spent at USU. It provided a very good education. Turns out someone from my class was awarded a very prestigious award. It was either a Nobel Prize in economics or a Fulbright. It was the type of award that you would expect Ivy League alumni to earn. Now the sports teams are very exciting

It has been over 50 years since I attended and graduated from Utah State I truly enjoyed my time there. I made friends with a native american there and I can't remember if there were any black students there or not at the time. I would highly recommend Utah State to anyone.
