I just moved to the area and unfortunately had to visit the hospital. By far best hospital ER I have ever been to. All because one particular nurse her name was Stephanie. She was very kind informative and helpful I can never say enough about how great she was. And honestly renewed my faith for the healthcare industry and people in general I honestly wish there were more people in the world like Stephanie.
One of the front desk receptionists was extremely rude even though I was kind and patient despite a bad leg injury. The nurses were nice but the discharge papers took the other employees more than an hour!! I waited way too long. Turns out they had incorrect information about me like address and ethnicity, and didn’t bother even asking me questions to correct anything. Lastly, they referred me to a doctor that’s not even in my insurance network (which they should know) and the doctor’s phone number they provided me isn’t ... read more
I have been trying for 2 years to determine the source of my breathing problems. The lung doctor does test and then sends me to the heart doctor, who does test and then sends me back to the lung doctor who after examining me decides I need to go back to the heart doctor. It goes on and on and cost climb. I’m elderly and don’t have the money but now that I need a colonoscopy they want me to go to the heart doctor first. I love their emergency room. The doctors are terrible.
WORST doctor ever.....doesn't listen....refused to prescribe a blood thinner medicine that I needed that was in my price range (he prescribed one that was over $400.00 for a 30 day supply and refused to prescribe a muscle relaxer (not a controlled substance) for sciatic pain even though I was planning to travel across the USA and would need it. WORST DOCTOR EVER
Balanced hidden billing extraordinaire.
At the first visit, when I mentioned that I would give birth naturally, she advised me to schedule an induction of labor for 38 weeks. My labor began exactly at 40 weeks on the expected date. To my great regret, she was present at my birth and I am very unhappy about this. She smelled terribly of perfume. Without saying a word to me, she consulted with the nurse about giving me an oxytocin injection and extracting my baby with a vacuum when I was already in labor. Thank God, the doctor came and did not let her do this. I was... read more
Used to love Dr. Gordon, but now he’s just another provider who is refusing to acknowledge my parental rights and appropriately discuss my minor child’s medical information with me telling me I need to ask his father instead. The POS father who refuses to tell me ANYTHING and actively withheld my son from me for over a year against court orders. Yeah, Dr. Gordon refuses to discuss my son leaving me almost completely in the dark about what’s going on with my son. Gotta love the parental alienation going on by Dr. Gordon, and ... read more
Not worth it. Great medical care—but billing has been a nightmare. I have BCBS and Tricare, and after over a year, 8+ calls, and 20+ minute hold times every time before even getting to speak to a rep, they still haven’t billed both insurances correctly. I was recently told the balance would be cleared, got a $0 bill, then was billed again an incorrect amount the next month for the same visit that was over a year ago. Be ready to spend hours trying to fix their mistakes.
The PA was dismissive of our thoughts and said that she didn't believe he was as sick as we thought but would test him anyway only to call back later to confirm my suspicion of pneumonia and she didn't prescribe anything for his lungs or instructions for his care.
