My aldult son has been here many times. He has schizophrenia. He go’s to the mental part here They always ship him off to far away other places. They keep him from 2 weeks the longest was about 28 days. They release him and nothing absolutely nothing has changed. No meds help he has been in psychosis for four years now. He is a danger to himself and to others. I don’t understand why I can not get real help. Eventually I feel he will kill me.
My Mom was in this Specialty Hospital for 6 weeks. I was truly impressed at how everyone treated us like family. We established a relationship with the staff and Doctors. I can say this they have a turn team that make sure the patient is turned every two hours. They show compassion and empathy for the patient and the patient family. We were ready to go home.
