The doctors that I have seen at UT Dermatology we're all women and although they did a pretty good job removing a basal cell carcinoma on my shoulder they seem to be afraid to remove two cysts I had developed. When I went in they started examining the area the cysts were in and saying that the one on my arm which was about 3 cm could possibly be more then just one cyst so they wanted to have it scanned. I started going here in 2023 & Emily Jones was my doctor. My skin did nothing & never changed or healed. She kept telling me the same thing over & over again & was just careless. 2 years later I’m still sad & battling my bad skin & trying to heal it. Now looking for another dermatologist.
The appointment system at this dermatology center is terrible. It takes up to 4 months just to get an appointment, and if you arrive even one minute late, they refuse to see you—no exceptions. This appointment was for my child under 3 years old, and there was absolutely no empathy or flexibility shown. The front desk associates will cost this place alot of business. They are VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I called to make a new patient appointment and she asked me if I had my insurance card I said yes let me grab it. She then put me on hold without telling me and hung up on me. I called back several times and they refused to answer the phone. When I called back and chose the nurse option the young lady who is very sweet asked me to hold so she could gey someone else. The ladies who answered the phone are very, very, very rude and unprofessional; they really make you feel unwelcome before you come in.
