Woke up out of nowhere one morning and could not walk. Admitted to the hospital under Dr. Olivera’s care. Spent 21days. Discharged home with walker/wheelchair. 2 weeks later began severely declining, seen him in his office. Could barely walk the distance of the room with a walker. He told me “sometimes this happens to people, you had a million dollar work up in the hospital. Come back and see me in 6 months” I left with a friend pushing me in a wheelchair. I was 42 at the time. Got a second opinion the following week where i... read more

I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation type 1 and syringomeylia. I picked this practice because of Dr. Olivera is a Chiari specialist. I never got to see him and it was upsetting. I figured Dr. Hatefi would know about it and point me in the right correction to getting help with my symptoms. My symptoms started really bad after being in a motor vehicle collision on 2/3/21. My first visit in the summer he said I don’t have chiari and not to worry about my syrinx because it’s normal (which isn’t) I left defeated and he stated... read more

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Olivera and his staff. From the front office, to the medical assistant, to the nurse practitioner, and finally to Dr. Olivera. Dr. Olivera is one of the best doctors I have seen. He is very patient and took the time to explain everything, made sure I understood what he was saying and listened to my questions carefully. I highly recommend Dr. Olivera.
