This review is based on my loved one’s experience with the USF Health Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, and unfortunately, it was far from positive. The department showed a concerning lack of professionalism and courtesy toward patients. Communication was one of the biggest challenges. Unfortunately it seems like their volume of patients has become far too much for them to handle with grace and it’s turned into patients getting treated as numbers on a sheet instead of human beings. I would advise looking elsewhere if you want a hands-on team that truly cares about finding you solutions quickly.
