I am a female freshman undergrad. There are good counselors but there was one (M.B.) who came off as extremely judgmental and dismissive. I'll never forget it. It's impossible to overstate how crucial it is to *not* have to face that when you're already at rock bottom. Really sours the experience of trying to get help and get better.
I have had good experiences with the counseling center. The intake process was not too complicated and I really feel like my counselor cares about me and has insightful advice for me. I have seen immense improvement in my life as a result!
Called during a crisis and they wouldn’t help. Sad state of affairs…they now offer Telehealth services but too little too late.
