Park takes in 3,648 acres set at the western end of the Goldfield Mountains, adjacent to the Tonto National Forest. The park contains a large variety of plants and animals that call the lower Sonoran Desert home. Along the most popular feature of the park, the Wind Cave Trail, water seeps from the roof of the alcove to support hanging gardens of Rock Daisy. Get out early on Pass Mountain loop. It can get hot at the back of the mountain.

Move your bike over the gate, but don't try to carry it. And if you fall, always shove the bike away from you. Starting out a 7-mile ride with a busted knee is no fun!

Yoga at Usery Mountain Park Nature Center Rocks! Beautiful view, great instruction. An occasional class out in the park is not to be missed.

Hiked Pass Mountain Trail. Great views. Steady climb of about 500'. I recommend the counterclock wise, to get a good workout-climb as you start out, then reward yourself with fantastic view of Salt Ri
