It’s corporate profit over people for them. As a long time user this bank sucks. Sad to say as a USC alumni. They take a full week to deposit my checks. I always am given different info wether I call or go into the bank. I’ve watched the customer service fall off a cliff and they will have no problem being unhelpful and screwing you over. They also don’t even cash bonds, pretty embarrassing…..
USC Trojan here. This credit union screwed up my life. Stay away. Context- several years ago my grandmother passed away so I took an academic leave for the funeral. I told my credit card companies and Bank of America, discover, and citi all were understanding and let me pay back my debt in 2 months with no consequence. USC credit union was the exception and essentially said screw you. They reported me to all 3 credit bureaus immediately and dropped my credit score by 200 points. I have a wonderful experience with USC Credit Union employees, particularly Perla, Jazmin, Evelia and Robert. They are all very helpful, smiling and hard working employees. They are all assets in your office.
I have banked with USC Credit Union for many years. They used to have knowledgeable, efficient, customer-oriented personnel. The service is not good because they don’t seem as knowledgeable or interested in making things happen for the customer. The overflow line is useless because they can’t help you with your problem.
