Warning!!! I took my vehicle to the Royal Oak location for a diagnostic and possible repair for a transmission on a 2000 Ford truck. Initially this seemed like a nice customer friendly and professional establishment especially after speaking to the aged owner known as "Bob", who seemed so eager and willing to have new customer associations. No stars!! Shouldn't be in business DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!!! I took my car here for them to fix a problem with my transmission. Now, going into this whole ordeal, I ALREADY KNEW what the problem was because it's a common issue with my make/model of car. I simply wanted them to take the old part off; install the new part (which is on the OUTSIDE of the transmission) and be done with it. Here's where it gets shady... Thieves and liars! I took my car here for a leaky axle seal.(leaving spots on my driveway) They changed the seal, but said it needed the axle replaced also. $500 later, I was back on the road. A week later I had my car in for an oil change at a friend's shop and I told the mechanic to take note of my new axle. He said the axles were old, original pieces. I told him I just paid $500 for a new axle on the right side and he said I had been ripped off. I went back to USA Transmission and confronted them on this. They denied not ... read more
