I'm new to disability, I had questions because I'm being cut off my insurance, and I was cut to 23.dollars for food,I don't get enough to live under a bridhe,dhs said I'm not disabled and to get a job,the lady on the phone wasn't happy I messed her day up by calling,she wasn't helpful,very adjatated that I called,so now who do we ask for help.....I'm guessing we're on our own...so very disappointed we work ha4d our wh9le lives,I've l9st the use of my hand,so I guess we're forgotten and thrown to the wolves....

I am writing this review out of deep frustration and concern. A close family member, who has been diagnosed with a major neurocognitive disorder, called this office seeking help with a disability claim. They did not understand (or were not clearly told) that they needed to schedule a formal appointment to discuss the claim. Instead of showing patience or offering guidance, the representative they spoke with became rude and dismissive. I've dealt with the Traverse City SS office twice now, and both experiences, once in person, and the other by phone, were excellent. The staff is fast, couteous and professional. Thank you!
