They're closed today due to an air conditioner problem and did not send out emails or call to let people know that their appointments were canceled
We came here to help my wife fix the incorrect name on her card. The appointment took all of ten minutes before we were finished and out the door. The security guard was extremely kind and helpful throughout the appointment. Thanks
This office is fantastic! I went with my grandma, grandpa, and my mother, and we were pleasantly greeted at the door by the security officer. He charmed our boots off the whole 5 minutes that our appointment took! The worker that helped us was also very kind — we felt at home! Thank you to the SS Office in Elizabeth City!! P.S. Make sure to have an appointment before you come! The workers aren’t allowed to let you inside without one.
Phone time is ridiculous. I think they do it to keep from talking to people. Waste of my time to make a worthless phone call. That’s Your JOB. Probably the main reason they possibly could be closing this SSI office. There’s NO one to ask a quick question, just a recording that keeps you on the line for over 5 minutes or more, just to end the call. When going into the office these individuals are some of the most rude people I have ever dealt with. Just ☹️
