Not so much my experience with the office on Monday 29 September, but the frustration of trying to recover funds that I sent on 28 January 2025 after being mislead by a medicare independent broker resulting in me sending $555.00 in order to enroll in part B and finding out that I shouldn't have since I am still employed with medical insurance. After learning this, I was instructed to contact SSI in order to submit a form to cancel my enrollment of part B (which I did) prior to 01 Feb 25 so that funds would be refunded. I hav... read more
They're closed today due to an air conditioner problem and did not send out emails or call to let people know that their appointments were canceled
We came here to help my wife fix the incorrect name on her card. The appointment took all of ten minutes before we were finished and out the door. The security guard was extremely kind and helpful throughout the appointment. Thanks
This office is fantastic! I went with my grandma, grandpa, and my mother, and we were pleasantly greeted at the door by the security officer. He charmed our boots off the whole 5 minutes that our appointment took! The worker that helped us was also very kind — we felt at home! Thank you to the SS Office in Elizabeth City!! P.S. Make sure to have an appointment before you come! The workers aren’t allowed to let you inside without one.
