My parents came in needing assistance understanding a letter they received and were treated like crap by the male security guard there. He complained to them that people there are working without getting paid and didn’t have time for them, like it’s their fault the government is shut down! Then he proceeded to say them “can’t you read”?! This man should be fired and never work near disabled or needy people! I hope he’s in need one day and gets treated the exact same way!
The people at this SSA location are exceptionally nice and efficient. I drove over an hour because it was the earliest appointment I could get to update my records, and the trip was 100% worth it. The gentleman who helped me at window 4 (I can’t remember his name) was kind and personable, as was the security guard. I waited less than 5 minutes for my appointment. In and out in under 10. I was spoken to the absolute rudest I've ever been on a call with a woman at this office this morning. She was extremely angry and aggressive from the start and kept talking over me and speaking demeaning to me. Eventually she started saying "have a nice day" and hung up on me when I told her she was being rude. I called back and got her again and she wouldn't provide me with a name or ID. Excellent work force. Took time explain how appointments work. I decided to use the telephone appointment instead of in person. They call me and explain how much I will be getting and when. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone retiring or thinking about retirement. I'm retiring this year September 2025. I went there in July to apply. Thank you guys for your assistance.
