I have had less than stellar service from the Salem office. Without going into detail it was SSA that made a mistake. But nobody there could figure it out. I made another call and waited for a call back and it was from Dani in Ontario Oregon office. She said she was able to take the call even though it's not the same office. The security guard at the front is WONDERFUL; this review has nothing to do with him and solely to do with the woman who answered my phone call today. There's no reason to talk to people like they're stupid. There's no reason to be excessively rude to people who call your office. It's literally YOUR JOB. if you can't be nice to people, you shouldn't be working that desk. Rudest office worker I've encountered. Must have an appt is ALSO stupid. Went in to ask about getting my daughters SSN that hadn't arrived yet and the guard gave us a phone number to call to schedule an appointment since walk-ins were no longer available. Scheduled over the phone, took about 10-15min to get through. Was scheduled a week out but when my wife went in they said they couldn't find an appointment under any of our names. Rescheduled again for another week out! Ridiculous!!
