I was diagnosed with my breast cancer in July 2024 in stage 1. But I ignore it, because I don't feel sick or have any symptoms. So I don't take it seriously. But after a few months my breast specialist doctor ordered a biopsy for me, after biopsy, got some insurance issue it’s about 3 months, after the biopsy my breast cancer became stage 2, and also cancer was gone in my blood . I highly recommend never to do the biopsy, it’s make it worse, breast cancer, or any other type of cancer. Just do MRI, surgery and other treatment... read more

Well Dr. Pineria is a wonderful, awesome, great doctor. Sadly we got stuck with another doctor while my husband was in the hospital and in clinic because Pineria was on vacation. This other doctor first off used my husband’s first name as our name. Mr. & Mrs. With his first legal name not our last name in all of the hospital notes. Also in the hospital notes she attacked me by saying because I was anxious I wanted to load up and go home that day. Well I do have anxiety thanks for throwing that over & over in my face. Also we... read more

I have had cancer three times. Once treated at MD Andersen where the doctors and administrative staff are superb. The second time I received treatment at TX Oncology. During chemotherapy, I had a billing issue and was in the process of working with the insurer and TX Onc’s billing department. The insurer told me the service was covered but needed to be billed differently. I gave this info to the billing dept and asked her to resubmit. I made payment on my account except for the amount in dispute ($334) I went for my one mont... read more

I was diagnosed in december, was put in touch with stacy webb, patient advocate at sammons center. She was a blessing. Helping me and my wife navigate the complications of treatment and diagnoses, we would not have known where to start without her help. She helped me get in to see dr. Cowey who has also been a blessing. If you are ever in need of cancer treatment, i highly recomend reaching out to her and the baylor team. We could not have done it without her help.❤️

I didn't want to make the stars too low because we've had good treatment from the nurses and staff so far. However, today when my sister-in-law and myself came for her treatment we were called to the dark side (without windows) so we asked if we could possibly get the light side (with windows) which didn't seem to be a problem we told to wait a little longer for an available nurse and it wasn't a big deal since our appointment was at 10:30 and we were called at 11:48 so a few more minutes doesn't hurt. Then Darlene comes dow... read more
