I have used U. S.Mechanical for over two years. They are always reliable and stand behind their work. They have never missed an appointment and I believe go out of the way to see that my work is done quickly and cost effectively. This compares most favorably with others I have used in NYC who seemed to defer my job for bigger more profitable jobs and simply never seemed to care about my issues. As far as I am concerned they are my first call for work in NYC.
I had such a terrible experience with this company. They removed a domestic pump for repair. They informed me it was beyond repair and brought me back a reconditioned pump. The pump they removed was in better shape then the one they brought back. Meaning, the housing on the one they brought back was terrible. Repainted but visually had rotten areas. While installing the motor, they wired it backwards and burnt the windings. It's less then a year later and the motor needs to be replaced AGAIN. U.S. Mechanical took absolutely ... read more
